Teaching the Tatar language in Kazan institutes of higher education in the 1920s: from Old Turkic written language to the Dalton plan

چکیده

The article examines the process of Tatar language teaching formation in Kazan institutes higher education 1920s on example Humanities sphere: North-Eastern Archaeological and Ethnographic Institute, Eastern Academy National Branch Pedagogical Institute. research is based a wide range unpublished sources from funds State Archive Republic Tatarstan. study curriculum disciplines within which was studied, forms methods, as well team specialists who taught during that period. Special attention given to socio-political conditions instruction developed. It has been established first years Soviet regime, mainly by orientalists. Therefore, this subject closely related oriental studies source disciplines. Students mastered not only spoken language, but also learned work with Old Turkic writing manuscripts. Teaching second half aimed primarily at training teachers native language. That period distinguished instability curricula, introduction new including Dalton plan, changes staff.
